John S. Weitzner, MD, FACOG is the Founder and President of University Obstetrics & Gynecology. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Weitzner is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is on the staff of Rush University Medical Center and Gottlieb Memorial Medical Center, and is a member of the teaching faculty of the College of Medicine of Rush University.

Dr. Weitzner has special interests in high-risk pregnancy, advanced ultrasound (including vaginal ultrasound) and vaginal and abdominal surgery. Dr. Weitzner obtained his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. His post-graduate training was at Mercy, Cook County Hospital and Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Weitzner is a member of several professional organizations including the American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society, and Chicago Medical Society.
